Community Life Groups

The church is not a building. The church is a group of people of common faith

who have joined together to share their lives with one another.

Upcoming Events

Sunday Bible Study

Every 8 weeks, we start a new topic for the Sunday Adult Bible Study which meets Sunday mornings at 9:00 am in the Fellowship Hall.

Currently, Elder Woody Davis is leading “Engaging the Culture for Christ.” What is the responsibility of the Church in relationship to a post-Christian culture? Are we called to be completely divorced from the culture or engage the culture to win them for Christ? Join us as we explore current trends in society, locally as well as globally, & search the scriptures to see what the church’s response should be & how scripture encourages us to respond.

The next topic will be “How Fierce the Battle; How Great the Victory,” taught by Steve Butler. The study will teach on how to live a victorious Christian life in an increasingly hostile, neo-pagan world.

Community Life

Mustard Seed is committed to giving people the opportunity to grow & mature spiritually. As followers of Jesus, we are called to become His disciples. If you want to be confident in what you believe, what you are supposed to do, & how you truly can be effective, we can help!

Community Life groups allow us to connect with one another outside of Sunday service; it’s another way to love one another.

This Sunday, August 31, is the last day of our Community Life Fair, before & after service. Stop by to get information about what groups are studying this semester, meet leaders, & ask any questions you may have. Grab a free cup of coffee & find the Community Life group that is the perfect fit for you!

Is Alpha for you?

A church is something to partner with, not belong to.

This class is an introduction to Mustard Seed Church.

Leadership structure is explained & opportunities for church involvement are explored.
You’ll learn about the history as well as doctrines & beliefs.
This class is part of leadership training & is required prior to leadership involvement.

Parents Connect

Sunday, September 14 at 11:30 am

Family discipleship is God’s plan for godly families. Parents Connect is an opportunity for parents to come together, share ideas, & encourage one another in raising godly kids.

We will begin with a free lunch for the whole family. Kids will be dismissed for some fun activities & we will then dive into how to manage your family in the media frenzy in which we live.

“Plant your roots in Christ & let Him be the foundation for your life. Be strong in your faith, just as you were taught. And be grateful.”

Colossians 2:7 CEV
